Description:
Nice shot in the late afternoon sun of the Montreal Locomotive Works 4-6-4 Hudson built in September of 1937 for the CP roster. Specs - serial #68953, class H-1c, 75" drivers, impressive 275 psi boiler pressure, 22x30" cylinders, engine weight of 354,000 lb, tractive effort of 45,254 lb. The loco was scrapped in June of 1960. No date or location was given for the photo. Unknown photographer but could be J.R.Quinn.
